花見の家（碑文谷の家）

見事な桜並木が目の前に広がる部屋のリノベーションです。ただ１階という事もあり
行き交う人とも目線があってしまうデメリットもありました。ここでは高さ調整のできる
ハニカムブラインドを窓に設置して外からの視線を遮りつつ、ブラインドの上部を開ける事で
床座のリビングから桜を楽しめます。日本の伝統的な花見文化を家の中で楽しめるリビングです。

“Cherry blossom viewing house”

This is a renovation project of a house which has a wonderful view of cherry blossom trees.But since the room was on the ground floor there were disadvantage to meet people’s gaze walking on the street. So we installed a honeycomb blind which block the view from outside but can gaze the cherry blossoms by opening the upper part of it.This is a living room which one can enjoy “Hanami” a traditional Japanese culture of enjoying the view of the cherry blossom.
